Total Harmonic Distortion (THD):Total harmonic distortion is a measure of non-linear harmonic\n\ndistortion and is given in %. Non-linear harmonic distortions are\n\nsignals which were not present in the original before the signal was\n\nconverted by the headphones. These unwanted signals are caused by the\n\ndiaphragm, whose movements do not precisely move in time with the\n\nelectric signals that cause it to move. Unfortunately, this is a\n\nfeature of all electroacoustic transducers. Although it cannot be\n\ncompletely eliminated, suitable steps can be taken to minimise it.\n\nHowever, the user is not interested in why this distortion takes place\n\nbut in how great the level of distortion must be for it to become\n\nperceptible. According to the findings of several research projects, a\n\ntotal harmonic distortion of 1% in the frequency range of 100 to 2000\n\nHz is imperceptible. Below 100 Hz, the perceptibility threshold lies\n\nat 10%.

Impedance:The effective resistance of an electric circuit or component to alternating current, arising from the combined effects of ohmic resistance and reactance.
4 O
Frequency range:The lowest and the hightest frequencies that can be inputted/produced.
50 - 20000 Hz
RMS rated power:RMS (Root mean square) is a measure of the continuous power required by a device, in particular audio amplfiers and loudspeakers.
6 W
Loudspeakers
Audio output channels:An audio output channel is an electric circuit which acts as a path for a signal produced by a device. A device may have several audio output channels.

Other features
Number of satellite speakers:The quantity of satellite speakers. These are speakers used in surround-sound systems that are intended to be placed around a center channel speaker, as a part of a technique to recreate "three-dimensional" immersive sound; they tend to be smaller than the center speaker, and often contain audio to the left, right, and behind of the center channel.

Ports & interfaces
AirPlay:AirPlay (previously called AirTunes when it was for audio only) is a proprietary protocol stack/suite developed by Apple Inc. that allows wireless streaming of audio, video, and photos, together with related metadata between devices. Originally only implemented in Apple's software and devices, Apple has licensed the AirPlay protocol stack as a third-party software component technology to manufacturer partners for them to use in their products in order to be compatible with Apple's iDevices.
Bluetooth:Bluetooth is a low-power radio technology developed to replace the cables and wires currently used to link or connect electronic devices such as personal computers, printers, and a wide variety of handheld devices including mobile phones. Because it uses radio-wave connectivity, a Bluetooth-enabled device has a constant, established connection to whatever browser it uses. This saves the user the trouble of logging on to check for emails or news updates, for example.
Weight & dimensions
Weight:Weight of the product without packaging (net weight). If possible, the net weight is given including standard accessories and supplies. Please note that sometimes the manufacturer leaves out the weight of accessories and/or supplies.

Height:The measurement of the product from head to foot or from base to top.
178 mm
Depth:The distance from the front to the back of something.
