The HP 1920 are advanced smart-managed fixed configuration Gigabit switches that build on the marketing-leading price/performance of the HP 1910 Switch Series. The series features IPv6 support and advanced silicon technology.

Simplifies Network Deployment and Management for Small Organizations
The HP 1920 Switch Series features easy-to-use, out of the box, plug-and-play deployment.
The series offers a complete portfolio of choices for increased flexibility. It consists of eight rack-mountable models with internal power supplies including four non-Power over Ethernet (PoE) models: 8G-, 16G-, 24G- and 48G- port; four PoE+ models: (2) 8G-, and (2) 24G-port.
These smart-managed switches use an intuitive Web management interface, based on our industry-leading HP 1910 Switch Series, to simplify deployment and management while offering you greater granularity of control of key features.
Keeps Your Business up and Running and Protected
The HP 1920 Switch Series is built on the market-leading, proven reliability of the HP 1910 Switch Series with advanced silicon technology for low power consumption, an enhanced feature set for more robust operation, new models and options.
Enhanced security features such as Access Control List, IEEE 802.1x and VLANs guard your network from unwanted or unauthorized access.
Management security restricts access to critical configuration commands, offers multiple privilege levels with password protection and supports secure http (https).
The switch series is covered by the HP Lifetime Warranty with next day advance hardware placement, 24x7 phone support for 3 years and business day phone and email support for as long as you own the product.
Delivers Improved Performance, While Lowering the Total Cost of Ownership
The HP 1920 Switch Series delivers advanced functionality in smart-managed switches, including Layer 3 static routes, SFP ports, IPv6 support, rate limiting, link aggregation and IGMP.
Smaller enclosures facilitate flexible deployment.
The switch series includes PoE+ options to power IP devices without the cost of additional cabling.
Advanced silicon technology, green features like Port shutdown and EEE compliance for greater energy-efficiency and the Lifetime Warranty significantly reduce TCO.

Specification

Technical Description: HPE 1920-24G-PoE+ (370W) Managed L3 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) Power over Ethernet (PoE) Grey

Design
Product colour:
Grey
Rack mounting:The type of mounting that can position devices in a shelving system (rack).
Yes

Management features
Web-based management:Using a website/web application to manage something.
Yes
Switch layer:A network switch is a computer networking device that links networking segments. A switch has different layers, such as layer 2 (a network bridge, operating at the data link layer, interconnecting a small number of devices) and layer 4 (can act as a firewall, amongst other things).
L3
Switch type:What switch device has, managed or unmanaged.
Managed

Network
VLAN support:A Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) consists of a group of computers and switches that can be physically distributed over different networks and buildings, but form one LAN on a logical level.
Yes
Auto MDI/MDI-X:A Medium Dependent Interface (MDI) describes the interface (both physical and electrical) in a computer network from a physical layer implementation to the physical medium used to carry the transmission. Ethernet over twisted pair also defines a medium dependent interface crossover (MDIX) interface. Auto-MDIX ports on newer network interfaces detect if the connection would require a crossover, and automatically chooses the MDI or MDIX configuration to properly match the other end of the link.
Yes
Flow control support:
Yes
Link aggregation:
Yes
Rate limiting:
Yes
Spanning tree protocol:
Yes
Port mirroring:
Yes
10G support:The product can use Oracle 10G, which is a database management system introduced in 2003.
No
Networking standards:The way in which the network is working, e.g. IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g.
IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3ab, IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3at, IEEE 802.3u
